Letter from the Executive Editor
Dear Readers, As the world becomes more complex, so too does the task of news-gathering. In an age where bias is the new brand in news, it's not just the public trust that's on the line. And so, News is History was born! We believe that news should be both informative and entertaining, well-rounded but not vitriolic, and we have brought together a diverse group of voices from throughout history to help us do just that. Our writers may be dead, but their insights are as fresh and relevant as ever. Empowering our cadre of associate editors to experiment with generative AI has made it possible to bring you incisive commentary on current events from historical figures. Our contributing writers hail from a time no less than a century ago, and no older than one millennia. News is History presents old views on our news—a fresh perspective on the issues of our time, and a gambit in harmonizing with an emerging technology. So, if you're tired of the same talking heads on TV, and tired of chatting over the same celebrity gossip at happy hours, join us for a journey through time and history. We promise to leave you informed, entertained, and name-dropping ancient deadies like a real one. Sincerely, Executive Editor, Co-Editors in Chief, and your dedicated Associate Editors

Publication Schedule
For the month of May, we are publishing our debut periodical, Issue 001. The first three periodicals will be monthly, thereafter moving to weekly, unless our readership encourages us otherwise.
Note: Response articles are a creative interpretation in the voice of a historical figure and should not be attributed to the actual beliefs or opinions of the mentioned figure. Works are intended to entertain readers with novel perspectives on current events.
